Inside Sales Associate
Crosstown is looking for an Inside Sales Associate with expertise in plumbing and/or HVAC sales, purchasing, and technical support. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the plumbing supply industry and prior sales experience. This role is responsible for selling products to corporate and more complex customer accounts, as well as troubleshooting issues and resolving disputes/complaints. Mentoring and assisting Counter Sales Associates is an important aspect of this role. This is a full-time job with required overtime weekly. Training will be provided upon hire, including time spent in the warehouse to become familiar with the inventory.
This job has the following requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in the plumbing supply industry and technical product knowledge
- Uphold high standards of consistent, professional customer service and builds long-term customer relationships
- Able to multi-task and maintain focus while prioritizing the needs of several customers at once
- Strong problem-solving skills (listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems)
- Proactive communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills
- Eager team contributor and able to wear multiple hats, while also able to work independently with minimal direction
Delivery Driver
Crosstown is looking for a Delivery Driver to contribute to the company’s overall operational success by ensuring on-time, accurate, and safe deliveries to its customers. The ideal candidate will have a 5-year clean driving record, prior successful delivery driver experience, and able to pass a forklift safety training. This role is not only responsible for the deliveries, but to also load the vehicles and work as a Warehouse team member when not delivering orders.
This job has the following requirements:
- Able to pass forklift safety training and maintain an accident-free workplace
- 5 years with a clean driving record OR 9+ years of a driving record with no more than 1 reported incident
- Able to work full-time hours, including weekend shifts
- Able to follow instructions and documented procedures
- Team player who is respectful and eager to help others
- Demonstrate pride in workspace/vehicle by maintaining a level of order & cleanliness
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs
